The Emer is one of Belfast's longest established Art Galleries having opened in the mid 80's and enjoys a wonderful reputation throughout the island of Ireland and beyond.  The gallery opened its present modern showroom on the Antrim Road some five years ago and has since held many successful exhibitions.


The gallery carries a wide selection of original art from upwards of sixty artists including 19th and 20th Century Irish Art.  In addition we carry both traditional and contemporary work with an emphasis on naive, primitive and Modern British artists.           


Established gallery artists include J B Vallely, Noel Murphy, Comhghall Casey, Basil Blackshaw, Sasha Harding, Fred Yates, Mary Fedden, Jimmy Bingham, Vittorio Cirefice and more recently Tibor Cervenak and introducing John McAtamney.   We also carry a selection of works by 20th Century Belfast artists,  William Conor, Markey Robinson and Frank McKelvey.
