Christmas Exhibition
Five artists selected from our summer show
8th - 31st December 2011
In our Christmas exhibition this year, we are exhibiting the works of five very talented artists selected from our summer 'open' exhibition - all deserving a wider audience. Between them they offer a breadth of styles which will appeal to all tastes. At this early stage of their 'careers' all works should be very achievable for most art collector's and aspiring art collector's budgets.
Andrew Glenn
Originally from Derry, Andrew has a degree in Fine Art Painting for the Norwich School of Art and Design. He has enjoyed early success with intial 'self' exhibitions. We think.... a strong talent, well worth watching, who very much deserves this broader exposure.
Clinton Kirkpatrick
An emerging artist, Clinton Kirkpatrick has a degree in painting and drawing from the University of Huddersfield. He has exhibited in various places in recent times. We think.... bright, colourful, abstract - will appeal to discerning, passionate fans of abstract and very modern art.
Howard Ross
Howard Ross is largely self-taught, although he has had much instruction from art teacher and friend Clive Wilson. He also follows in the family tradition of painting, both his father and uncle painted throughout their lives. We think... Howard's work has broad appeal... Loose, rainy scenes of familiar people and places - the perfect Christmas gift.
Liam O'Neill
After graduating with a degree in graphics, Liam O'Neill spent many years working for the BBC. Having taken early retirement a few years ago he is finally enjoying the art success in deserves, exhibiting with both the Emer Gallery and the RUA for the first time this year. We think... A beautiful talent that's been lost in a crowded world.
Patricia Maria Maginness
Originally from North Belfast, Patricia Maria Maginness lives, paints and increasingly exhibits in London including a recent exhibition in the Three Mills Gallery. She has exhibited with the Cavehill gallery and the RUA. We think... Evocative in an ethereal way, very moving - pour a glass of wine and enjoy.
