Sasha Harding
Regardless of the time of year, Sasha Harding's delightful work will remind everyone of a happy sea-side child-hood. Born in 1973 and having grown up in Dorset, this young artist has settled on the north coast of Cornwall and spends considerable time painting outdoors, which is very evident in her work. Her limited palette captures the beautiful coastal light and a great variety of people and animals enjoying day to day activities along the coast. Sasha brings a delightful humour to her work and a great sense of timelessness. Sasha's work is proving to be highly collectable and she has already enjoyed a number of sell out shows. She is of course continuing a long family tradition in the arts, with both grandparents having been artists. Sasha and her sister put on a home exhitibion when they were teenagers and this is when Sasha sold her first painting! She studied Fine Art and graduated with a B.A. HONS. from Falmouth School of Art in 1996.
The Emer Gallery carries a lot of Sasha's work and are delighted to call her one of our most popular gallery artists and by far our most successful online artist. We observe that everyone, old and young, relate well to Sasha's happy seaside scenes. We are also delighted to be the only gallery on the island of Ireland representing her at present.
